The Texas Volunteer Management Conference provides a broad based, affordable, nearby training for professional volunteer managers in Texas and nearby states. Throughout its twenty-one year history, the conference has consistently received high evaluation marks from attendees for its educational value on topics of management trends, volunteerism and personal development. The conference is noted for workshops facilitated by trainers and leaders who are outstanding in their field.

Texas Volunteer Mgmt Conference The Texas VMC is open to anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of management of volunteers and raising their level of professionalism. The day includes networking opportunities, two morning sessions, lunch with a nationally known speaker, and two afternoon sessions. Attendees have a choice of sessions featuring multiple workshops covering different aspects of volunteer management and personal development.

The conference is sponsored by the Dallas Association of Directors of Volunteers (DADV) , the Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (DOVIA) of Tarrant County and The Volunteer Center of North Texas. The attendance at this years’ conference is expected to attract 200 - 250 attendees, and will be held at Grapevine Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.
